We Create First Class First Impressions!
The Decorum Group is a personal training and development organization providing workshops, community activities and field trips
designed to address the social development needs of children ages 6+, teens, adults and the business community. Our organization
addresses the needs surrounding etiquette, social skills, mentorship and leadership development.
Vision
To be the most trusted authority providing personal training and development in the state of Georgia.
Mission Statement
To promote academic achievement, self-esteem and appropriate social conduct as well as personal development plans for at-risk
children, teens and adults. As our programs work to develop first-class, first impressions, they will also foster confidence building
with the intention of developing leaders for our community. By providing this etiquette, personal development, leadership and
mentorship program we hope to alleviate some of the ills facing our society such as teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, low
academic achievement levels as well as unemployment.
Philosophy
We believe that it is through knowledge that opportunities are created. We want to present the knowledge that is missing from
classrooms, social skills and proper decorum for any environment. We believe that the knowledge of proper protocol often created
barriers to success. We intent to provide a medium that fills the gab between text books and success.
Objective/Purpose
The Decorum Group was created to provide meaningful programs to empower, inspire, equip and enhance skills of participants
enabling them to maximize their abilities to behave appropriately in various settings, communicate effectively, work well with
others, make sound decisions and solve social problems in a win-win manner. We believe that when these types of skills are
developed, it increases an individuals’ ability to excel academically, achieve success and creates strong, ethical leaders who enjoy
enriched lives and solid relationships.
Goals
• To provide a safe environment that is conducive of personal development and growth
• To allow participants an opportunity to freely express themselves through self-assessment and discovery
• To partner with other organizations to enhance our program offering
• To assist participants personal growth and development
• To help guide participants to make good choices to support their advancement toward success
• To equip participants to pursue their educational, personal and/or career goals
Learning Outcomes
• Interact and communicate appropriately with peers in social and academic environments
• Display proper behavior at home, social gatherings and within learning institutions
• Exhibit etiquette while dining
• Professional presentation in an professional interview
• Make good choices of attire
• Demonstrate proper telephone protocol
• Confidently and appropriately interact with authority figures
• Take a leadership role among their peers
